Education

Meet Kerrie Ryan, LMSW

Hi, I’m Kerrie, a Licensed Master Social Worker who provides individual and group therapy for adolescents and adults. I have more than 10 years of experience in mental health and substance-use treatment, including work with individuals navigating co-occurring concerns, crisis situations, and the often-complicated process of rebuilding stability.

Outside of the therapy room, I’m a mom to a 19-year-old currently in college. I love crafting and enjoy the quiet, creative space it gives me to slow down and recharge.

I work with clients experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, life stress, infertility, women’s issues, and challenges with coping or feeling emotionally overwhelmed. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I draw from DBT, CBT, and motivational interviewing to help you better understand what you are experiencing, develop tools that fit your actual life, and make changes at a pace that feels manageable.

I believe mental and physical health are deeply connected, and that therapy should be a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported without judgment. Whether you are feeling stuck, adjusting to a difficult transition, or working to reconnect with your confidence, we can work together to identify your next steps and build on the strengths you already have.

I earned my master’s degree from Adelphi University and hold a postgraduate certificate in addictions. My goal is to offer a steady, compassionate space where you can feel more grounded, capable, and connected to yourself.
