Meet Emily Kuhn
Training: EMDR, CBT
Hi! My name is Emily. I love crafting and am always working on some sort of home renovation project. I love spending sunny weekends exploring local farmers markets and going for walks with my border collie. I have worked in the field with youth, teens, and families who have experienced trauma, displacement, mental health struggles, and various other obstacles for almost 10 years. I have worked with and built relationships with many agencies across Suffolk, Nassau, and the five boroughs throughout my career. It is important to me to be able to help others navigate difficult familial relationships, work through barriers and build strong connections with those around them.
I earned my BSW from Siena College, and MSW from Fordham University’s School of Social Service. While my focus there was Human Services Based Leadership, my passion is helping teens navigate today’s world. I look forward to meeting new people, and seeing how I can help you grow and take control of your life!
